Fishy Friday Fundraiser Launched

Ireland’s only fishing charity LAST ( Lost At Sea Tragedies) has launched a major fundraising event which gives the public an opportunity to support our fishermen whilst enjoying a mouthwatering fish & chip dinner.

The “Fishy Friday Fundraiser”will take place nationwide on Friday 4th December and many of Ireland top Fish & Chip Takeaways and Restaurants have already committed to donate part of their sales from the day to LAST to support our fishing communities and families. Participants include:

  • The Seafood Shack, Killybegs
  • The Fish Box, Dingle,
  • Harringtons Cafe, Dingle
  • Sheehy’s Fish & Chips, Dingle
  • IASC, Dungarvan,
  • West Coast Grill, Castletownbere
  • Dursey Deli, Allihies
  • The Lobsterman, Aghada,
  • Doran’s on the Pier, Howth
  • Quinlan’s Seafood Bars, Cork, Kenmare,Killarney,Killorglin and Tralee
  • Catch of the Day, Carrigaline and Kinsale
  • Barties Takeaway, Ballyphehane, Cork
  • The Captains Catch, East Cork
  • The Salty Buoy Truck, Dublin
  • Sustainable Seafood Ireland are donating 5% of all sales on https://sustainableseafood.ie/ 
  • Nick’s Fish, Ashbourne will be donating 10% from online sales on https://nicksfish.ie/ and €1 from every sale in the shop and from wholesale orders.

Everyone is encouraged to spread the word to their families & friends to help make the day special.
